Hello, and welcome to Fervent Worship! I’m your host, James Dasher, and I’m glad you could make it.
Alright, with that out of the way…truly, welcome! This is a space for us to hopefully have some great dialog about a variety of topics that are close to my heart, and hopefully close to yours as well.
My heart beats for the church, not a building, not an organization but those that have been called by Christ to be his bride, his family. We have been given the opportunity to return to the reason we were made, to fellowship and to then worship an almighty, wonderful God. He has pursued us, he has saved us.
I hope you will join me in the conversation, the discussion of what it means to be called by God. We were created at the beginning for worship, for fellowship with our Creator. We fell away, but he pursued us, it’s the greatest romance story of all. Now as creatures reborn in Christ let’s pursue together what it means to worship and love him. What it means to come together in community, what it means to serve and minister with and to others. Lots of great stuff to come, will you join me?
